We have a 6 month contract for an Azure Cybersecurity Consultant paying £545pd inside to join our not-for-profit clients Information Security team to play a pivotal role in implementing security controls for their transition from on-prem to cloud in a Microsoft environment.
This is a hybrid role and you will be required to travel to their site based in Kent twice a week.
What You'll Do as the Azure Cybersecurity Consultant:
As an Azure Cybersecurity Consultant you will be a key player in an Information Security team, responsible for:
Providing security and risk assessment consultancy on projects and workgroups, ensuring that IT Security is integrated into the design of new services.
Offering expertise in Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud security, covering security, compliance controls, and contributing to the security architecture.
Conducting security risk assessments, initiating remedial actions, and ensuring the protection of our IT infrastructure and applications.
Escalating unresolved security exposures, resource misuse, or non-compliance issues to management.
Ensuring security reviews are part of Change Management processes to maintain their security integrity.
Supporting the information security team with day-to-day activities, including security monitoring, incident management.
