Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for software engineering and project management?


Look no further – I am seeking a talented Delivery Manageron an 18 month FTC to join a team and lead their software engineers to success. The Delivery Manager will be responsible for the leadership, management, and development of the software engineers.
As the Delivery Manager you will ensure that the team of software engineers have the tools, resources, and information available to complete the product roadmap as planned.
Collaborating closely with UX and Architects, you'll project manage the work through the process, driving progress and ensuring alignment with business requirements.


Key Responsibilities for the Delivery Manager:

  • Line management of software engineers, fostering their skills and capabilities for career progression and alignment with business needs.

  • Project management of all software development projects, ensuring adherence to agreed methodologies and alignment with overall priorities.

  • Reporting to senior management on backlog, work-in-progress, roadmap, and team performance.

  • Acting as Scrum Master and owner of the Agile Delivery Methodology, facilitating iterative improvement and fostering a culture of self-management.

  • Collaborating with Architecture and UX teams to plan and align work objectives, driving cohesion across teams.

  • Engaging resources from various business units to support software engineers as needed.

  • Planning, documenting, and communicating releases for completed software, including UAT, training, and roll-out phases.

  • Providing expertise and guidance to support the ongoing operation of software developed by the team.

Key skills for the Delivery Manager:

  • Proven experience in software engineering leadership and project management.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience as a Scrum Master preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop talent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
