As an IT Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing all IT assets associated with projects. From PCs to printers, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of these assets as they rotate around the country. Working closely with various departments, your role will be diverse, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach.
Responsibilities of the IT Service Coordinator:
- Book/check-in returned workstations and printers, ensuring smooth inventory management.
- Assess stock for reuse, repair, or disposal, sorting accordingly.
- Reimage PCs and check printers for functionality before redeployment.
- Collaborate with the project manager to streamline asset management processes.
- Coordinate hardware repairs with third-party vendors when necessary.
- Manage device active directory and ensure accurate geo-location tagging.
- Conduct ad-hoc testing with clients for new images, hardware, and updates.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of all equipment, updating asset records as needed.
- Procure and set up new telephone numbers for site deployments as per project requirements.
- Assist with shipping and logistics of hardware deployments.
- Experience in Windows 10, PC imaging, and setup.
- Previous experience in IT asset management preferred.
- Cloud telephony knowledge desirable, but training provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
