Our rapidly growing client within the FMCG sector is currently recruiting for a Logistics Manager to join their team. The Logistic Manager will collaborate with the sales team to ensure supplies are purchased, stocked and delivered to customers promptly. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining operating policies on general logistics and product procedures.
Key responsibilities for the Logistics Manager
Optimise and maintain inventory based on demand and supply chain activities
Managing and maintaining an accurate inventory of product storage warehouses to maximise stock turns and cashflow.
Managing all 3PL partners
Facilitating business relationships with clients and product suppliers.
Maintaining an approved supplier list and carrying out regular audits.
Discussing and negotiating product costs with approved suppliers
Setting up and maintaining schedules for inbound and outbound shipments
Key Experience for the Logistics Manager
A background within Logistics management
Result orientated with a clear focus on key business objectives.
Strong written & verbal communication skills with an ability to deliver an accurate & concise message
Result orientated with the ability to understand the needs of the customer and how our client can best meet and exceed their needs
