Are you an Account Manager experienced within the Energy sector? We are recruiting for our client who is a leading player in the energy sector. They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Metering Account Manager to join their team.
As the Metering Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of metering projects and services to Energy Suppliers. This position requires an individual with exceptional communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

The role of Metering Account Manager is based in Bristol and offers hybrid working with a mix of 2 days at home and 3 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Successfully deliver metering work, including fault resolution, new connections, and meter exchanges.

  • Collaborate with the Strategic Account Manager to ensure effective delivery of metering projects on behalf of Energy Suppliers.

  • Take ownership of Supplier Metering issues, following problems through to resolution.

  • Proactively identify new opportunities from existing Suppliers and collaborate on proposals with the Strategic Account Manager.

  • Contribute to Supplier Account Plans to facilitate in effective delivery on contractual agreements.

  • Identify contract gaps within metering and collaborate with the Strategic Account Manager and Commercial teams to ensure proper invoicing.

  • Coordinate with Operations to prioritise metering and fault work based on energy volume.

  • Work closely with metering teams to understand priorities, dense areas of work, and engineer availability to provide feedback into the supplier channel.

  • Develop cooperative and client-focused relationships with all internal departments.

  • Act as the designated point of contact for Energy Suppliers requiring day-to-day performance information.

  • Maintain a log of data quality issues, lead improvement initiatives, and provide an escalation route for urgent matters.

  • Prepare supplier reports on a monthly basis where automated reporting is not in place.

  • Stay informed about upcoming industry changes and assess their potential impact on Energy Suppliers and Meter Operation.
