As a Service Co-ordinator, you'll play a crucial role in assisting policyholders who have experienced losses due to car incidents.
Here's what you'll be doing as the Service Co-ordinator:
Manage Repair Journeys: From instruction to payment, you'll ensure each stage is monitored to prevent delays.
Customer Service Excellence: Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism, providing prompt assistance.
Prompt Payments: Ensure timely payments to repairers and negotiate costs effectively.
Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with suppliers and ensure smooth communication.
Resolve Complaints: Aim for first-time resolution of any issues, compiling necessary documentation.
Key Skills Required for the Service Co-ordinator:
At least 2 years' experience in a Customer Service role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Tact and assertiveness in dealing with repairers/storage facilities.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong empathy, tact, assertiveness, and diplomacy.
Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and use initiative.
Proficiency in PC and administrative skills.
Experience/Knowledge:
Good knowledge of motor vehicle construction and repair techniques is desirable.
Basic understanding of insurance principles and computerized estimating systems (e.g., Audatex) is a plus.
