Our client is seeking a 1st Line Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The 1st Line Engineer will be working within an IT company that provides IT support to over 250 organizations across the Southeast and London area. The 1st Line Engineer will either be traveling to client sites to provide direct IT support or be a part of the helpdesk team and provide IT support over the telephone.
Key responsibilities for the 1st Line Engineer:
Represent the Company in a positive way, by engaging well with customers, being well-presented at all times, and demonstrating a positive work ethic
Work as part of a team to improve and deliver high-quality PGM days for clients
Demonstrate a professional, respectful, and proactive approach to customer service
Have the technical knowledge to make recommendations to clients, suggesting genuine system improvements
When not undertaking site visits / PGM’s, provide technical support to our client's customers via the Helpdesk ticket system, as required by the business
Skills required for the 1st Line Engineer:
Knowledge with Windows Server 2003-2019
Knowledge with Windows Desktop XP-10
Basic Networking capabilities
Office 365 tenant setup and administration
General user and email administration
Demonstrable experience as a 1st line IT Engineer
