Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager
- Your primary focus will be to drive the acquisition of new client accounts within your allocated territory.
- Develop proposals and budgets for the sales opportunities and ensure that the proposals and budgets go through the appropriate review and approval process
- Act as client point of contact and ensure on-going client satisfaction throughout sales process and where applicable operational contract.
- Manage the sales process from lead generation, proposal through to contract negotiation and deal closure involving Customer Success and other resources, as appropriate.
Key Skills & Experience for the Business Development Manager
Essential
- 5 years of experience selling clinical, regulatory and digital solutions (SaaS a plus) and complex technology enabled services contracts
- Experience selling into the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Medical Device markets, a strong knowledge of regulatory operations
- The ability to travel within their selected territory and globally when required
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
