We are working with a rapidly growing and dynamic technology company with offices based throughout the UK to recruit for an established Business Development Manager on a full time permanent basis, this role can be based from any of the UK offices. The realistic OTE for this role is £80-£110k Per Annum + company car/Car Allowance.
As a Business Development manager you will play a pivotal role in the growth journey of our client. Your primary responsibility will be to sell their in-house software to external clients, leveraging the extensive database with over 14,000 contacts. However, a substantial part of this role involved proactively generating new business and converting sales through various channels including, cold calling and generating your own leads, contacting leads from data lists and leads generated from internal teams.
Key responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:
- Identify and engage potential clients, understanding their software needs and tailoring solutions to meet those needs
- Leverage existing relationships and database of contacts to drive software sales
- Proactively generating new leads and opportunities through cold calling and networking
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the CRM system
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas
Key skills for the Business Development Manager:
- Proven track record in a business development role selling either Automated software, finance systems or account payable systems
- Unmatched interpersonal and communication skills
- Results driven mindset
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Experience with CRM software and sales tools.
