Our client, a UK wide company focussed on lowering carbon emissions through energy/heat saving is looking for an experienced CAD Technician to join their rapidly growing team. The role of the CAD Technician will be to support the design and delivery of new projects from pre-design to final design.
Key Responsibilities for the CAD Technician:
Design high-quality technical drawings and plans from the supplied designs and customise existing drawings.
Using a variety of CAD software programmes to create designs within 2D & 3D models, and Revit.
Provide detailed, scaled, and accurate drawings.
Ensure drawings comply with the industry standards and protocols.
Conduct site visits and surveys when required.
Produce documentation for installation and manufacturing.
Key Experience for the CAD Technician:
3-5 years of experience within relevant sectors.
Highly competent with AutoCAD 2D & 3D, and Revit.
IT Proficient.
Great communicational skills.
Willingness to question conventional design methods.
