Our client, a specialist and niche Law firm, is currently recruiting for a Civil Litigation Solicitorto join their team of solicitors. The Civil Litigation Solicitorwill be responsible for the successful management of civil litigation/dispute matters from inception to conclusion.
This role would also be suitable for a newly qualified solicitor or Fee Earner, who has dispute resolution experience.
Responsibilities for the Civil Litigation Solicitor
Handle a broad range of disputes including property disputes, debt recovery, professional negligence, tax disputes, commercial disputes, immigration matters
Ensure cases are progressing in accordance with the firm's Plan and defined procedures. Align the service provided with the client's needs in a way that enhances the firm’s reputation
Maximize personal billings to achieve appropriate billing performance targets meeting with the income budget/and or forecast for the department
Key Skills & Experience for the Civil Litigation Solicitor
Essential
1-2 years of experience in Civil Litigation and dealing with a range of civil cases
Able to organise and prioritise workload especially under pressure is essential
Previous experience in managing a case from a case management system (ideally Proclaim)
Proven track record of advising on complex and varied civil matters
Strong written and spoken communication skills
