Our client, a forward thinking not for profit organisation, is currently looking for a Cloud Engineer. The Cloud Engineer will be working to a 3rd Line Level and managing technical Incidents and Problems and undertake hands-on engineering work as part of Incident and Problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities for the Cloud Engineer
Take an active role in transition of services to live including hand-over to support and all required documentation.
Assist with IT Problem management with advanced troubleshooting, working with ITT Cloud Platform Manager and ITT Senior Cloud Platform Analyst to plan problem resolution.
Monitor incidents and problems for trends, report findings to ITT Cloud Platform Manager.
Work with the IT Support teams to resolve 3rd line incidents escalated to cloud Platform Analyst team, ensuring that you meet the OLA agreed with the IT support services.
Review long term trends, identify future capacity or performance issues and recommend and take appropriate preventative action. Look for proactive opportunities to resolve issues before they impact IT systems and services.
Undertake a range of routine checks, maintenance tasks and patching to ensure the continued reliable running of all IT systems and services.
Key Experience for the Cloud Engineer
In-depth knowledge of Cloud Services (Azure).
Knowledge of IP networking specifically cisco switches.
Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop.
Knowledge of SQL Server Administration.
Knowledge M365/O365 Administration
Knowledge of Exchange Online Administration
Proven PowerShell skills.
