We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our clients Information Security team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out Information Security tasks within both BAU and project based work streams.
The role will also involve technical and non-technical security assignments, suiting an individual with
a solid understanding of Information Security, a pragmatic attitude and a desire to actively
contribute to a developing Information Security function.

A strong working knowledge of Azure security technologies and hands-on experience with their operation is essential.

Key Responsibilities of the Cyber Security Analyst:

  • Support the information security team in day to day activities including security monitoring,

  • incident management activities, and a 24x7 support rota.

  • Develop and maintain ongoing knowledge of all CAF software, hardware and data inventories.

  • Manage stakeholder queries with a secure methodical approach.

  • Monitor the health of security systems via routine and ad-hoc checks. Investigate issues with

  • security controls, co-ordinating or escalating as appropriate.

  • Carry out routine security assurance activities of CAF systems.

  • Review reports and alerts from security control systems, investigating anomalies and escalating to incidents where required.

  • Manage security incidents, conducting diligent and thorough investigations.

  • Develop, document, and manage appropriate processes and guidance for the information security function and its tools.

  • Assist with the management of ISMS, coordinating the updates to and approval of policies and

  • standards.

  • Assist in the creation and delivery of Information Security training and awareness material for


Key skills of the Cyber Security Engineer:

  • Solid experience of working in an information security related role in a technology orientated environment.

  • Demonstratable experience in process analysis, documentation and maintaining security procedures.

  • Working knowledge of information security principles including audits, risk assessments, incident management, access and identity management.

  • Implementing security best practices in line with ISO27001, SANS or NIST

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 platform security
