.Our client, a local government body, is currently seeking a Digital Business Analyst to join their team on an initial 3 month contract. The Digital Business Analyst will have a background in the public sector and will be responsible for gathering requirements, digital analysis and managing resources.
The Digital Business Analyst will support the Digital Platform Manager on solution delivery.
Responsibilities for the Digital Business Analyst:
Conduct business analysis and requirements gathering for digital projects.
Work closely with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and project plans.
Support the Digital Platform Manager to assess and deliver platform priorities.
Develop and maintain documentation, including process maps, business cases, project plans, and test cases.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed projects.
Work collaboratively with technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects, including testing, implementation, and training.
Qualifications for the Digital Business Analyst:
Experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a local government setting.
Proven track record in delivering successful digital projects, including experience with agile methodologies.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including GDPR, is desirable.
