The Electronics Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a small team of engineers that performs assembly, test, and calibration of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment.
The Electronics Supervisor will also be ensuring the department meets production targets.
Key Responsibilities for the Electronics Supervisor:
- Monitor staff performance and quality of work.
- Use of company’s MRP system
- Ability to perform hands-on asks within the departments to support the departments throughout, including: assembly, repair, calibration of products and other tasks undertaken by department staff.
- Oversee the training and development of staff in the department.
- Undertake regular meetings with department staff to discuss workload, performance, and issues.
- Maintain technical documentation and work instructions to ensure best practice.
Key Requirements for the Electronics Supervisor:
- Experience with supervising a team within a production environment.
- Strong people management skills
- Experience with use of MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
- A recognised qualification in electronics with a strong practical emphasis.
- Working knowledge of relevant current Health and Safety best practice.
- Solid background in electronics assembly and knowledge of fault-finding and repair
- Fully computer literate with a formal qualification within an electronics discipline
- Experience with calibration of electronic or electro-mechanical equipment (desirable but not essential)
