We are currently seeking an entry-level installation engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The Installation Engineer will be working on a large-scale EPOS installation project for our client. As an entry level position, our client are open to various backgrounds, a passion or interest in IT and hardware is needed and full training is provided.
Retail, Customer Service, Jr Installation backgrounds are welcomed. This is an incredible opportunity for someone to kickstart their career as an Installation Engineer.
Our client provide full training and are committed to putting their contractors through courses to upskill.
Key responsibilities for the Installation Engineer:
Installing and configuring EPOS hardware and software systems at client locations
Some knowledge of hardware, with an ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
Ensuring that systems are functioning correctly and meeting client needs
Communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide top-quality service
Possess excellent communication skills as this is a client-facing role.
Requirements for the Installation Engineer:
Knowledge of hardware build or installation
Customer-facing attitude with a focus on providing top-quality service
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Basic knowledge of hardware and an ability to troubleshoot technical problems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
