Key Responsibilities: As a Maintenance/Facilities Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing in-house Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) tasks for equipment such as generators, compressors, air conditioning systems, and air quality systems.

  • Conducting regular safety checks, including fire extinguishers, emergency lights, emergency exits, call point inspections, water temperature checks, first aid provisions, ladder assessments, site safety and security rounds.

  • Maintaining the Facilities Service Request Log, collaborating closely with department managers to prioritise and complete DIY tasks in a timely manner.

  • Coordinating with the Facilities & Security Team Leader to engage contractors for larger requests.

  • Executing maintenance activities as needed, such as repairs to taps, toilets, showers, general fixtures and fittings, painting and decoration, floor tile installation, external fire escape route maintenance, and minor electrical repairs.

  • Ensuring that all tasks are performed safely and diligently, providing regular feedback to the Facilities & Security Team.

Qualifications & Experience: To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:

  • Hands-on facilities maintenance experience.

  • Electrical skills would be advantageous.

  • Proximity to the site to serve as a key holder.

  • Valid driver's license is essential.
