Are you an experienced and skilled Fraud Analyst? We have an excellent opportunity to work within our clients Financial Intelligence Team as a Fraud Analyst on a 12-month FTC. 

The role is offered with hybrid working, 35 working hours per week and excellent benefits. 

As a Financial Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our efforts to detect, investigate, and prevent fraud. By leveraging your banking expertise and analytical skills, you will contribute to the safety and security of the bank and its customers. This role involves reviewing transaction monitoring reports, collaborating with customers and external entities, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities of the Fraud Analyst:

  • Review transaction monitoring reports to identify potentially suspicious activities.
  • Contact customers to confirm the legitimacy of suspicious transactions and gather necessary information.
  • Investigate and manage fraud cases in alignment with internal protocols and external regulations.
  • Collaborate with customers, merchants, other banks, and enforcement authorities to resolve cases.
  • Research and compile CIFAS referrals and Production Orders as required.
  • Generate regulatory reports within mandated timeframes.
  • Oversee document management and facilitate internal control account reconciliations.

Qualifications and Skills required of the Fraud Analyst:

  • Background in banking and relevant experience in fraud investigation.
  • Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to build rapport.
  • Effective multitasking and workload prioritization skills.
  • Proficient problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
