We are looking for a Grant Officer to join an award winning team for our not for profit client. This role is offered with Hybrid working and will involve supporting the delivery of their grantmaking portfolio, across a range of programmes.
As the Grant Officer you will be working closely with the Grant Managers and Grant Coordinator as the team works to accelerate progress in society through impactful grantmaking.
The Grant Officer will preferably have experience working for a charitable cause.
Main responsibilities for the Grant Officer;
Supporting the Grant Managers in the delivery of specific national and international grant programmes
Responding to enquiries from applicants, grant holders and donors
Day to day grant administration, maintaining accurate records and processes through grantmaking databases
Preparing impact reports, presenting analyses and producing content on programme activities for internal and external purposes
Contributing to new ideas and ways of working to develop equitable models, processes and use of technology to accelerate the impact of our clients grant programmes
Key skills for the Grant Officer;
Confident project management experience
Significant knowledge and experience of the UK non-profit sector
In depth experience of delivering community, national or international grant programmes
Understanding and use of online grantmaking portals or databases
High level of communication skills (written and oral)
