We are seeking an HR Manager to join our client’s team permanently. The HR Manager will be working on a hybrid basis in their London office and will be working within a fast-growing technology company. The HR Manager will also be playing a crucial role in establishing trust with stakeholders across the organization.


Key Responsibilities for the HR Manager:

  • Coaching and supporting managers in HR processes such as absence management, performance, disciplinary actions, grievances, appeals, probation reviews, family-friendly policies, and flexible working.

  • Providing advice to managers in compliance with current employment legislation.

  • Reviewing, developing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures in alignment with evolving legislation.

  • Assisting with change projects, including restructures.

  • Managing the onboarding of new staff, handling new starter processes, and conducting right-to-work checks.

  • Supporting annual performance reviews and associated administration.

  • Overseeing recruitment campaigns, from creating job ads to closing roles and providing feedback.

  • Conducting new starter inductions.

  • Maintaining the HR system and HR reporting data.

  • Collaborating with finance on the payroll process for new joiners, leavers, and internal changes.

  • Championing employee engagement and building our culture through participation in employee forums and organizing social companywide events and activities.

  • Assisting with benefits administration and liaising with staff and benefit providers.

Skills Required for the HR Manager:

  • A CIPD Qualification is essential 

  • In-depth working knowledge of employment legislation

  • Experience in a generalist HR function within a fast-paced, high-performance culture.

  • Full-cycle recruitment process management experience.

  • Confidence in handling employee relations activities, such as absence management, capability and investigation, and disciplinary processes.

  • Experience managing people processes, including salary and bonus reviews, performance improvement, etc.

  • Comfort with HR systems and reporting.

  • Proficiency in using Excel for data manipulation and analysis.

  • Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritize tasks.

  • Strong influencing and communication skills.
