Our client, a market-leading automotive trader, is seeking an IT Support Technicianto join their IT Support Team on a contract basis for a minimum of 8 Weeks.

The IT Support Technicianwill be responsible for assisting the IT support team and acting as the first point of contact for IT problems both hardware and software, including third-party applications and telephony support, for all employees.

Responsibilities for the IT Support Technician

  • To ensure customer demand is managed as effectively and efficiently as possible through the Ticketing system, inbound phone traffic, client portal and as a result of service days

  • To work within a team of support engineers in managing and supporting customer service engagements.

  • To take ownership in logging all service requests, incidents, problem records and change requests within the Ticketing system


Key Skills & Experience for the IT Support Technician
Essential

  • Strong 1st line support experience

  • Windows 10 and Office 365

  • Active Directory

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
