Operational Risk Manager- HYBRID

Are you an experienced Operational Risk Manager looking to take on your next challenge? We are working closely with a financial services company based in Crewe looking to hire this position on a full time, permanent basis. 

You will be responsible for the enterprise risk management framework and will be instrumental in the embedding of their new risk based systems.

This role will predominately be based remotely with once monthly trips to the office.

Key Responsibilities for the Operational Risk Manager:
- Coaching and leading the business to follow best practice to mitigate risk where possible
- Be the champion of risk processes and policies ensuring these are all understood within the business 
- Acting as 2LOD and being able to confidently advise the business of best practice 
- Support with embedding the risk processed within the new risk system which is due to go live in the coming months 
- Understanding enterprise risk framework, policies and control testing

Key Skills for the Operational Risk Manager:
- Broad understanding of risks across including areas such as Business, Change, IT & Cyber
- Experience within financial services, ideally pensions or insurance 
- Ability to work collaboratively across the business
- Previous experience as within Operational Risk
