Our client is seeking an Operations Manager on a permanent basis. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the team is motivated and focused. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for identifying and implementing business process improvements and customer experience enhancements.
Key Responsibilities for the Operations Manager:
Manage the smooth delivery of all the tours within the Ski department.
Manage, train and develop a team of Ski itinerary coordinators.
Work with and support the Ski Sales Manager with Product Design and Development and the coordination of key updates.
Ensure the team is motivated and focused on personal and departmental customer service targets.
Work closely with the Sales and Operations Director to plan and deliver relevant targets.
Identify and implement business process improvements and customer experience enhancements.
Assist with the organisation of inspection visits and checking receipt of health and safety audits (training provided)
To carry out emergency phone duty (supplementary pay applicable)
Skills Required for the Operations Manager:
Experience of working in the School Travel Industry in Operations (or similar) at management level is desirable.
Must be an effective communicator and have strong interpersonal skills.
Must be able to effectively engage people and be a good team player.
Demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude, effectively prioritise tasks, be resilient and handle pressure calmly and objectively.
Must be a ‘self stater.’
Be a good problem solver and be able to find creative solutions when required.
Strong attention to detail, planning and organisational skills.
Must have a high level of written and spoken English.
