We are seeking a Procurement Administrator to join our client’s team permanently. The Procurement Administrator will be a team worker with an attention to detail and must have strong analytical skills. The Procurement Administrator will be strategically coordinating and overseeing the procurement of stocks along with more duties and working 5 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities for the Procurement Administrator:

  • Strategically plan and regulate optimal stock levels across all product lines to maximize sales opportunities while effectively managing costs

  • Coordinate with sales team to address contract demand and facilitate call-off ordering

  • Conduct weekly demand reviews and identify any necessary corrections

  • Generate monthly reports on the analysis of slow-moving stock

  • Collaborate with the team to conduct regular supplier reviews, ensure adherence to service level agreements, delivery schedules and competitive pricing

  • Coordinate and schedule deliveries in collaboration with freight forwarders

  • Manage product lead times to ensure timely delivery and meet customer expectations

  • Oversee procurement of standard products from key suppliers, keeping the key Internal contact informed of any issues and ensuring order statuses are accurately maintained within the purchasing system

  • Bi-weekly stock assessments conducted with the team to mitigate the risk of under or overstocking.

Skills Required for the Procurement Administrator:

  • Excellent communication/relationship-building skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Strong IT skills, mainly in Excel but knowledge of Zoho, WMS & Stock Trim is great

  • Team worker

  • Stock management (Planning/Forecasting)

  • Budget Management/commercial awareness
