Our client is looking for a Project Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The Project Engineer will be responsible for helping to implement a range of varied IT projects and changes across a variety of customer networks and setups. The Project Engineer will also be working within a team to work on projects and complete them in an efficient and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities for the Project Engineer:
  • Hardware/software upgrades
  • Office 365/Azure integrations and setups
  • Cybersecurity work
  • Work closely with the Team Leader to deliver technical solutions proficiently.
  • Elements of scoping smaller projects and the work for yourself and junior members of the team.
  • Liaise with customers and third-party vendors to plan and implement projects as well as provide guidance for others.
  • Travel to customer sites.
Skills Required for the Project Engineer:
  • A Full UK Driving License is required.
  • Previous experience working for a computer dealer/reseller.
  • Previous experience in Project Engineering.
  • Windows Server 2022 and earlier.
  • Active Directory management.
  • Backup solutions e.g.: StorageCraft, Veeam.
  • Microsoft 365 technologies e.g.: Azure AD, SharePoint, etc.
  • Virtualization technologies e.g.: VMware, Hyper-V.
  • Excellent telephone manners and customer service skills.
  • Good communication, literacy, and organizational skills.
  • Possess a willingness to learn and cooperate as part of a team.
  • Confidence working in a busy often hectic environment.
  • Excellent commercial awareness.
  • Logical approach to problem-solving coupled with common sense.
  • Live within a 25-mile radius.
