The Sales Engineer will be responsible for maximizing customer and order acquisition in line with company strategy. The Sales Engineer will have a background in Sales and Heating and cooling or HVAC.
Key Responsibilities for the Sales Engineer:
Maintain customer information in company systems as required, ensuring effective data management
Timely and accurate forecasting and reporting on bookings, revenue, conversion rates, and maintenance of the overall pipeline
Hit targets to meet Annual Operating Plan within Sales Incentive guidelines
Accountable for the management of a personal sales plan to include management of leads, effective sales meetings, preparation of detailed financial proposals including appropriate equipment selection to suit customer/project needs, order generation
Participate in key initiatives for innovation and growth in equipment, service, or rental, including customer retention, customer acquisition, and communication of value propositions.
Proactive contact with key customers and responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction including relationship management and handling customer issues.
Skills Required for the Sales Engineer:
Leadership and interpersonal skills
Good communication
Working knowledge of concepts of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and HVAC systems, including building automation systems.
Computer literate and competent in various Microsoft Office suites.
Should have specialist HVAC skills; demonstrate thorough knowledge of electrical & mechanical components of HVAC equipment
