As a Sales Executive, you will be a driving force behind the company's success, responsible for selling magazine space to a diverse range of small, medium, and large businesses. The magazine reaches an extensive audience of over 385,000 members each month, both locally and across the UK. Your role will encompass selling both classified and display ads, meeting targets, cultivating client relationships, and seizing opportunities for revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities for the Sales Executive:
Utilise your sales expertise to sell magazine advertising space to businesses, targeting local and UK-wide audiences.
Achieve and exceed set targets for selling advertising space, demonstrating your sales acumen.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
Identify and capitalise on opportunities to increase revenue, including sponsorship for events and other projects.
Collaborate closely with the team to ensure effective communication and seamless project management.
Key skills for the Sales Executive:
Proven experience within a sales environment is essential; background in media sales is preferred, though service sales experience will also be considered.
Exceptional relationship-building skills, able to establish connections effortlessly.
Strong negotiation abilities, adept at securing mutually beneficial agreements.
Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
