Electrical & Mechanical Supervisors Wanted!
Immediate Start!
Our client is seeking an Electrical Supervisor & Mechanical Supervisor to join their team on a 20-25 week/6 month contract. The Electrical & Mechanical Supervisors will work for a growing company, within the Energy (M&E) Division. The Electrical & Mechanical Supervisors must have previous commercial experience and proven supervision experience, working on a variety of M&E projects.
Key Responsibilities for the Electrical Supervisors:
  • Supervising electrical teams and coordinating the daily activities of the electrical team
  • Help project managers to conduct Health & Safety inspections in work areas
  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical work on all electrical projects
  • Work with contractors to complete projects on time
  • Write up and submit daily activity reports to the project manager
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the DC power teams
  • Coordinate and complete all site audits and all followup actions
Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Supervisors:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mechanical engineers onsite
  • Provide expert guidance and support in the installation of mechanical systems, pumps, pipelines, and related equipment
  • Monitor and inspect work progress to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, industry standards, and safety protocols
  • Coordinate and oversee all mechanical activities onsite, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budget constraints, and quality standards
  • Quickly address and resolve any mechanical issues or challenges that may arise during construction
Skills Required for the Electrical and Mechanical Supervisors:
  • Proven experience in Electrical and/or Mechanical supervision, ideally in robust M&E projects in a healthcare environment or similar
  • Strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Can prioritise work, work well under pressure, meet deadlines and manage business expectations
  • Enjoy a challenge, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Legal right to work in the UK
