As the Application Product Manager you’ll take ownership of a significant project, overseeing it from strategy and concept through to production release, ensuring the solution is scalable, future-proof, and aligned with cutting-edge R&D developments.
Key responsibilities for the Application Product Manager:
- Define and execute product strategies, roadmaps, and differentiation plans for geospatial or automotive software solutions.
- Leverage your experience in mapping technologies, including routing, GeoJSONs, line strings, polygons, and location-based services, to create innovative and user-centric products.
- Research market needs and develop end-to-end customer experience plans that lead the industry in satisfaction and differentiation.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, including requirements gathering, MVP definition, Agile development cycles, and go-to-market execution.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and sales, to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality products.
- Create performance metrics and KPIs to track success, continuously improve, and maintain market leadership.
- Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic relationships with partners to enhance the product offering and expand market reach.
- Proven experience managing technically complex software products, particularly in geospatial or automotive fields.
- Expertise in mapping technologies, including principles of mapping, geolocation, routing algorithms, and spatial data visualization.
- Expertise in mobile app development for iOS and Android, ideally with Flutter platform experience.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, JIRA, and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with AI technologies, mapping principles, and camera or video technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, and GDPR compliance in cloud/mobile applications.
- Strong business acumen, customer-centric mindset, and ability to analyse complex data for strategic decision-making.
