Key Responsibilities for the Business Support Administrator:
- Provide administrative support to fee earners and the wider firm, ensuring workflow efficiency and adherence to company standards.
- Perform essential tasks including photocopying, document bundling, scanning, printing, and creating and maintaining data rooms.
- Manage the case management system, storing and organizing documents electronically, and using the BigHand workflow system to address job requests promptly.
- Maintain the Records Management System, including deed scheduling and document retrieval.
- Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering checks and other legal documentation procedures.
- Assist with a range of operational tasks such as handling incoming and outgoing post, managing document storage, and supporting the team during staff absences.
- Support the Operations Director with routine and ad hoc tasks and assist in training new starters.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure training guides and departmental notes are kept up to date.
- Proven ability to multitask and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work calmly under pressure to meet deadlines.
- A reliable team player, willing to assist colleagues and ensure smooth operations.
