We are looking for a Management Accountant on behalf of our client, a large and well-known retail company. This person will be based on site 5 days per week in their office is Carlisle.
Key Responsibilities for the Management Accountant:
Working closely with managers from different teams at all levels
Responsible for preparing quarterly VAT returns
Accurately producing annual budgets, forecast, and balance sheet reconciliations
Ensure the fixed asset registers are maintained
Support budget holders to analyse and review the accounts
Produce monthly management accounts for a number of business units
Key skills for the Management Accountant:
Full or Part CIMA/ACCA qualified
Previous experience working to tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Previous Management Accountant experience
