Our client, a market-leading and fast-growing energy company, is currently recruiting for a Plant Maintenance Engineer to join their commercial operations and maintenance team. The Plant Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and breakdown repair of mechanical systems.
Responsibilities for the Plant Maintenance Engineer
Completion of planned preventative maintenance activities in line with company maintenance schedules
Attend reactive call-outs to sites to reinstate heat and resolve plant failures
Completion of complex pipework repairs if and where required (crimp, plastic welding, soldering, etc.)
Ensure maintenance system records are kept up to date to ensure accurate and secure records. This will involve the completion of clear and concise online work orders.
Key Skills & Experience for the Plant Maintenance Engineer
Essential
Experience in the same or a similar role
NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification
Familiarity with technical drawings
Full UK Driving License (held for at least 12 months)
Strong written and spoken communication skills
