As a Solutions Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our client engagements by providing technical expertise and strategic guidance. You will be responsible for pitching technical solutions, presenting software development options, and advising external organisations on the best technologies to meet their business objectives. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Solutions Presentation:

    • Engage with prospective and current clients to understand their business needs and technical challenges.

    • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.

    • Tailor technical designs to meet the specific needs of clients, ensuring alignment with their business goals.

  • Software Development Advisory:

    • Advise clients on software development best practices, methodologies, and tools.

    • Provide insights on emerging technologies and how they can be leveraged to solve business problems.

    • Collaborate with the internal development team to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with our capabilities.

  • Client Engagement:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organisations.

    • Act as a trusted advisor, offering strategic advice and technical direction throughout the engagement lifecycle.

    • Conduct needs assessments and propose tailored solutions to enhance clients' operational efficiency and innovation.

  • Proposal Development:

    • Assist in the preparation of proposals, including solution design, effort estimation, and pricing strategies.

    • Write detailed technical specifications and solution descriptions for inclusion in proposals.

  • Market and Technology Research:

    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.

    • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in our service offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent industry experience.

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in a technical consulting, solutions architecture, or pre-sales engineering role.

    • Proven track record of successfully pitching technical solutions to clients.

    • Experience in software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency across a broad technical landscape.

    • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.

    • Knowledge of database technologies and integration frameworks.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    • Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.

    • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.

    • High degree of professionalism and customer-centric attitude.
