Our client, a not for profit organization, is looking for a security Vulnerability & Threat Analyst to join their forward thinking team. The Vulnerability Analyst will be responsible for translating any security concerns and threats and manage and coordinate task with the infrastructure engineering teams.
The Vulnerability Analyst will either have similar previous experience of come from a technical background with a knowledge of cloud security, O365 and patching services.
This is a hybrid based role with the Vulnerability Analyst needing to be in the office 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities for the Vulnerability Analyst
Ensure that Vulnerability and Patch Management are implemented in line with policy, and in the most effective and efficient manner.
Work with key stakeholders within IT and across the wider business, as well as partner organisations, to ensure visibility of the threat landscape and provide reassurance of risk mitigation measures being taken.
Monitor for evolving threats and provide input and advice on their potential impact to the business
Create, prioritise, tracking remediation tasks and provide regular reports.
Key Experience for the Vulnerability Analyst
Excellent awareness and experience of cyber security, vulnerability and patch management.
Experience of working with Microsoft technologies including Azure, M365, Windows Server & Desktop Operating Systems.
Experience of working in the financial service sector is advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
You will need to feel comfortable communicating and produce board level reports showing metrics demonstrating compliance with policy
