We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our client’s team permanently. The Financial Accountant will be working for a fantastic company on a full-time basis in the office. The Financial Accountant must be ACA-qualified and be able to handle several accounts in the finance department.
Key Responsibilities for the Financial Accountant:

  • The preparation of consolidated group management accounts, budgets and forecasts.

  • Cash flow reporting

  • Liaise with other group finance staff and support in operational functions.

  • Review of all subsidiary management accounts, budgets and forecasts to ensure consistency and accuracy.

  • Submission of weekly bank facilities report.

  • Preparation of the statutory accounts for all companies to agreed timescales & associated working papers.

  • The preparation of management accounts, budgets and forecasts for all non-trading companies including the holding companies & associated working papers.

  • Company lead with the external auditors for interim and year-end audits.

  • Provide support to FD in any corporate matters (acquisitions/re-structure).

  • Maintain and develop systems of reporting depending on the needs of the business.


Skills Required for the Financial Accountant:

  • Good working knowledge of basic UK tax compliance rules.

  • Able to work to agreed timeframes

  • Experience in producing detailed receipts and payments cash flow forecasts.

  • High level of Excel

  • Have expertise in group consolidations and strong financial modelling skills.

  • Involvement in the annual audit process for a group of companies.

  • Up to date knowledge on FRS 102 and accounting standards.

  • Working knowledge of multi-currency groups.
