Build your experience further with this fantastic opportunity as a Plumber/Mechanical Engineer, installing, servicing and testing various appliances within a specific location.
This vacancy is a 3-6 month contract, with a possibility to go permanent.
Key Responsibilities for the Plumber/Mechanical Engineer:
Complete all statutory and non-statutory maintenance in accordance with set maintenance schedules and contract SLA’s.
Complete reactive works in line with contract SLA’s/
Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment.
Ability to measure, work to plans, reach technical diagrams and communicate, present and report technical information as appropriate to trade/skill
Skills Required for the Plumber/Mechanical Engineer:
Sound knowledge of Health & Safety including ISO9001 & 14,001.
Experience of working on Commercial Hot & Cold water systems is essential.
Approved and formal apprenticeship served in plumbing/mechanical skills area required or relevant and practical experience within a similar industry
Experience in the maintenance of: Heating and domestic water services, TMV’s, Air handling units, Manage Plant Rooms, including Steam Pipes.
