We have an exciting new role for an experienced and hands-on Sales Manager to join our clients team. New Business is a crucial part of their business and are seeking a skilled Sales Manager to lead and manage a small team of Executives and/or Consultants. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting revenue targets while ensuring top-notch customer service and effective client communication.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:

  • Manage a team of Licensing Executives and/or Licensing Consultants, focusing on achieving both team and individual revenue targets.

  • Work towards personal sales targets, while dedicating time to coaching, mentoring, and supporting your team.

  • Assist the Head of New Business in various aspects of team management, including implementing culture and engagement initiatives and proposing new ideas.

  • Bring commercial insight and understanding of how your team’s performance contributes to the success of the New Business team and the wider Licensing department.

  • Excel in prospecting for business leads, managing a sales pipeline, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Utilize your comprehensive knowledge of our products and license types to ensure clients receive the most suitable and cost-effective licenses.

  • Use various platforms effectively and coach your team to do the same.

  • Promote teamwork and lead team activities to foster a collaborative environment.

Skills and Experience required of the Sales Manager:

  • Proven experience in sales management, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong people management skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders.

  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand and drive team performance to contribute to the success of the broader department.

  • Familiarity with a range of platforms and tools to support sales activities and client interactions.

  • Ability to quickly assimilate new information and provide clear, compelling information to clients to aid their decision-making process.
